Murciélago Roadster
Three years after the presentation of the Lamborghini Murciélago, its open version was presented: the Murciélago Roadster. At that time it was the world's fastest Roadster with a top speed of 320 km/h. The closed top is only permitted up to speeds of 160 km/h, which means that higher speeds are only allowed when driving with the top open. The fabric roof could be folded and stored in a leather bag supplied as an accessory.
The car is characterized by a modified engine compartment cover and a body seven centimeters lower. According to official information, the Roadster weighs 29kg more than the Coupé. In the first year of production, 2004, 80 Roadsters were built.
